Friday Five – Beautiful Blizzard

Today I am showcasing the Beautiful Blizzard bundle in my Friday Five! This set is so gorgeous, and you can do so much with it! I am loving the “splotchy” stamps in this set, and they can be used to create a blizzard of snow, or can be used to create backgrounds or the look of watercolouring on a card.

The card that I created using this set was a CASE (Copy And Share Everything) from Pootles from the UK. I loved the colour palette and card so much that I just had to recreate it with this set.

Friday Five - Created by Barb Ink - Beautiful Blizzard - Stampin' Up!

Using Melon Mambo and Powder Pink this little beauty came to life. Plus what I loved about this card,is it isn’t your typical Christmas card but it is so pretty! I used Melon Mambo cardstock, Whisper White cardstock, Melon Mambo and Powder Pink ink pads, Beautiful Blizzard bundle, and rhinestones!

The other upside to this set is the thinlits cuts out a total of 17 snowflakes all in one cut!

Then you can use the mat for a mask or you can put paper behind it and turn it into a card front. Or you can use the die and with our new embossing mats you can turn the the snowflakes into embossed images. You will see this done on one of the other cards featured!

So without further ado, here are the other gorgeous creations using this set!

This beauty was created by Trish Todd. Simple elegance!

Friday Five - Card Three

This purple palette created by Vicki Boucher is so pretty too, and I love her choice of using pearls to accent her card!

Friday Five - Card Two

The next two cards created by Melissa showcase how you can use the snowflakes on one card and then by placing dazzling diamonds glimmer paper behind the cut outs it will create a stunning effect. These are so elegant.

Friday Five - Card One

The last card is done by Tami White and showcases how to create an embossed effect using the snowflake thinlits and our new emboss mats! So effective in creating your background!

I hope you fall in love with this set as much as I have! I would love to see what you come up with! Let me know which card has you in a “flurry for snowflakes!
