Hi Everyone, so excited to share this project, and let me tell you, it is so simple!
I created this template and just wait until you see how quickly you can put this together.
You can create this project by using one sheet of 12 x 12 cardstock. I used Basic Black to make my bottle treat holder.
Step 1
Take a full sheet of Basic Black 12 x 12 and cut it at 3 ½” x 12”, score at 5 ⅜” and 6 ⅝”.
Cut another piece at 1 ½” x 11”, score at 2 2/8”, 3 ⅝”, 7 ¼” and 8 ½”.
The large piece will become your treat holder, and the smaller piece will become the band to hold your bottles together.
Step 2
Cut three pieces of All My Love DSP at 5 ⅛” x 3 ¼”
Cut one piece of All My Love DSP at 1 ⅛” x 3 ¼”.
Cut one piece of Flirty Flamingo cardstock at 5 ⅛” x 3 ¼”.
Step 3
Glue two of the 5 ⅛” x 3 ¼” pieces to the inside of the treat holder and the smaller piece to the bottom of the treat holder. See photo for placement.
Glue the last 5 ⅛” x 3 ¼” piece to the front of the treat holder, and glue the Flirty Flamingo cardstock piece to the back of the treat holder.
Step 4
With the band, glue your DSP pieces onto the front of the band, see photos for placement. Once these have been adhered, glue the band together to create the holder for your bottles.
Step 5
Place your bottles onto the middle of the treat holder.
Glue the back of the band and then slide the band over the top of the bottles until you like the placement and attach to the treat holder. I like to use tombo glue for 3D projects as I find it will hold permanently.
Once this is done, your treat holder is done! Now you can decorate as desired. I kept mine quite simple as I love the DSP, and wanted that to shine, but I did add a little tag to finish it.
For the tag I used the Detailed Birthday Edgelits #148548 to cut a little tag out of Basic Black cardstock.
I then cut down a scrap of the All My Love DSP to put inside it.
Then I cut out four “love” from the Well Written Framelits # 148534.
I glued them altogether to create some dimension and then glued it to the tag.
Using a hole punch, I punched the top of the treat holder on both sides and then using a brad from the Metallics Brads # 146929, I put it through the top to close the treat holder.
You can fill the bottles with anything, but I used cute embellishments to finish my project! Who wouldn’t love to receive something like this? I know I would!
I hope you enjoy, and I hope you will try it out!
